Stoke DIV1 Management Team 2019
It is with great pleasure that we announce the following Division 1 Coaching and Management Team for our 2019 Season:
Brad Allam: Head Coach and Backs Coach
Stu Tunnicliff: Assistant Coach and Forwards Coach
Andy Dwyer: Manager
Cale Kemp: Assistant Manager
Stoke Rugby Club would like to welcome Brad, Natalie and their boys to the Stoke Family.
Brad has been coaching rugby at both secondary school and representative level for the past 10 years.
Whilst playing rugby in Dublin, Brad worked for Leinster Rugby Union as a Community Rugby Officer. Upon returning to Auckland Brad worked as a Sport Manager and Head of Rugby for Saint Kentigern College. In 2014 Brad and Natalie moved back to family roots in Nelson to bring up their young family. Brad Head Coached the Mako Under 18’s this year and is looking forward to extending his coaching at Senior level in 2019.
Along side Brad as an assistant coach is an epic Stoke man – Stu Tunnicliff. Stu played senior rugby for 16 years for Stoke. During that time, he clocked up an impressive 250 plus games in the red jersey! Stu also played for Nelson Bays, Nelson Bays Sevens and Mako Sevens. Having only retired from playing rugby two years ago, Stu has had a couple of years break. The Stoke Rugby family is looking forward to Stu taking the next step with his coaching career.
Andy Dwyer and Cale Kemp:
On the managing side the experienced Andy (“Super Manager” as we call him) will be back on board to organise the team. Andy will be assisted by Cale Kemp and together they will have our team sorted.
Pre-Season starts on Saturday 26th January 2019 at 10am sharp at Nayland College. All existing and new players from all Senior Grades are welcome.
Stoke Rugby Football Club would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season and a prosperous New Year.
STOKE IT UP and bring on 2019!!!!
